When does judgment begin?

I want to open with two huge questions. The first being, "What is a Liar in the sight of God"?

The second question is one I too had to respond to as if a "Common" consideration in the house of God.

Before I did respond as if unto the Lord, very little of the Gospel (Good News) also interpreted as though it were "Good News".

Responding is not always the truth as it is more often a measure taken that serves the one asking with the response you think THEY want to hear.

And to those who take pride in always saying what's on your mind as if "The Truth" don't assume the one listening isn't filtering (redefining) what they've heard you express through the use of words. Words are only a "medium" used and more such that gets "Abused".

More often what's being weighed (listened for) is whether you are "For" or "Against" the one you're exchanging words with. And that because the spirit in a man knows how to taste "words".

The difference being in a word exchange with God is that He knows not only what's in your heart, but also how those things found their way into your heart having navigated through the mind of your soul and in turn the response from your mouth in the form of words.

Taming the tongue is more than NOT saying words the world has considered to be "Bad", taming the tongue comes by way of allowing the Spirit of God within you to speak as if your first "Nature".

I'll give you an example, many parents relate to their children all the reasons "Why" they should not have sex before marriage (as if Law).

They'll tell them all about the concerns related to sexually transmitted diseases & pregnancy should they choose to engage in this activity.

That child will then take that advise and go out and one by one find an immediate remedy for all the above. They'll go to the counsel it's taken them weeks to establish (said "friends") and they'll find the remedy, namely a "Condom". As if a note to themselves, "There that was easy "Problem Solved"

How the parent fails their child is, they fail to share with them the type of devastation that follows those type of shallow relationship instead of the latter resulting in emptiness and the "Lost" sense of trust that makes any TRUE relationship "Real".

Why is it so hard to teach them? Could it have anything to do with them NOT having a True example to follow or being exposed to other people that Truly have a "Trusting" relationship with God that's obvious?

Listen to the example a great man of God recorded for our learning yet what and who are we also being asked to Follow in terms of "Building True Relationship"?

1 Cor 10:33-11:3
For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved.

Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.

I praise you for remembering me in everything and for holding to the teachings, just as I passed them on to you.

Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.
NIV

Here's the second question, "Do you consider yourself as "Saved" or as one that is "Being" saved in the sight of God?

Why the word "Persevere" if the whole trickle down affect of Gods teaching is a done deal after having mimed a short sentence some other person thought up and then taking a bath with your clothes on in front of a bunch of people?

People look for change in other people, yet God looks for His "Identity" in His people which they since find as the New Creation in them. And what is "Faith"?

Heb 10:35-39
So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. For in just a very little while,

"He who is coming will come and will not delay. But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him."

But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved .
NIV

Notice I did NOT ask if you still sin, instead do you "Continue" to consider (see) yourself AS a sinner?

What is the difference between "Past Tense, Present tense and Pretense"?

Most know what past tense and present tense mean, but I've found not so many the word "Pretense" enough that it has become a common understanding. I've borrowed from Merriam Webster as seen below in order to keep us flowing in the same direction:

pre·tense

 noun \ˈprē-ˌten(t)s, pri-ˈ\
: a false reason or explanation that is used to hide the real purpose of something
: an act or appearance that looks real but is false
: a claim of having a particular quality, ability, condition, etc.

There are things that are obvious and there are also things not so obvious, yet how you do find when we copy and paste or cast the light of "Truth" onto that these type of questions? Many claim they are saved, yet what does God suggest the saved also "Look Like"?

Why does God as THE creator go to such great lengths through the use of images created to be seen in order to convey His thoughts? It would also make sense why those opposed would also have you to doubt ONE common creator of ALL mankind as if One capable of painting these pictures wouldn't it?

Have you ever stopped the madness long enough to consider how much of what you believe to be "True" as if it does concern God also participates together with God's mercy?

Don't confuse mercy with God's Grace just yet, because there is a "Distinct" difference between the two, yet also know one can't be "Realized" without the other also being present...

Now let me ask the question this way, Has the consideration of being saved proved to be a false pretense in terms of what is "True" and that according to and in agreement with the Words of God?

In agreement to mean certain things are now so obvious to where many of these pictures are not only painted, but also interpreted in terms of contrast?

I once had an unbeliever speak these words to me at a time when I was struggling with authority while in the military. He was also a my superior that took it upon himself to befriend me.

He said to me in simple earth tone terms, "You take care of your Boss and your boss will take care of You"! At a glance that was what I thought a "Captain Obvious" one liner, yet it took me years for that statement to dredge the bottom of what I thought I "Knew".

Only years later did his words reverberate once I (realize) believe that he too was yet another created object by the hand of God through whom God can also "Speak" despite what that man believed to be etrenally True.

He surely understood what he was talking about I later found out, yet he only understood this principle as it had to do with worldly governed matters.

Prov 27:18
He who tends a fig tree will eat its fruit, and he who looks after his master will be honored.
NIV

How long have you been looking for the evidence of your being saved and where have you been Looking? As if looking for something you also hope has become "Obvious" as if a tree that's now producing "Fruit" that can be eaten AND enjoyed by others?

For the sake of mentioning it, there is also difference between unripe fruit and mature fruit that can be eaten without being bitter to the taste.

Many only read and observe this recorded instance of Jesus (Matt 21) interacting with a Fig Tree from the miraculous vantage point, whereas Jesus being the "Master" teacher that He is in all instances how much does the context of Him as though a man being "Hungry" factor into the lesson He was teaching?

Many fail to "see" the direct correlation and importance between Jesus The Son of God - The son of Man and by doing so they fail to SEE the very example they were intended to reach out an touch in their quest to be "Like" Him.

Talk about a "Win-Fail" observance instead of a "Win-Win" scenario when we only see Him as the Son of God....Not to mention the importance of his leading example of "Obedience" in which our hope is planted we trust leads back to One and the Same Father....

Also when reading the Gospel one need also recognize the authors are writing from a reflective vantage point that has been "Inspired" by the "Holy Spirit" as if the "Interpreter".

When it is suggested today that "Holy Writ" has been "Inspired" by the Holy Spirit that is also to suggest the undiminished "Advantaged" perspective of the Lord.

As if that perspective remains the "Objective" He intended to teach as if that perspective has been found trust worthy enough as if YOU were there with Him as an "Eye" witness. Hence the need for one to "Meditate" on such things.

Take notice it doesn't say He saw fruit from afar, but instead He recognized it as a "Fig" tree but found no fruit until he drew closer (went up to it).

Matt 21:18-19
Early in the morning, as he was on his way back to the city, he was hungry. Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, "May you never bear fruit again!" Immediately the tree withered.
NIV

What is the fruit of the "Vine" as many love to sing along with that old hymn? Has it become a spiritual song you now sing as if only you, the Lord and those you've chosen to harmonize with truly understand what's being sang?

If God is believed in that He has made himself Known through all that he has created and that Jesus Only does as He see the Father doing, at what point does the likes of a Fig tree become a spiritual "Bill Board" the Lord also uses to reveal Himself and His ways? As such that need only their "Righteous" interpretation while being observed?

How else can a man hope such things will then speak what needs to be heard?

Luke 21:29-31
He told them this parable: "Look at the fig tree and all the trees. When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near.

Even so, when you see these things happening, you know that the kingdom of God is near.
NIV

Was Joel a prophet of God? How does a prophet of God also Know (hear) how to interpret all that he sees?

What of Joseph who could interpret the images of God created things as "Seen" and then described in the mind of another man? Other men to mean ungodly men who can only reflect upon what they saw and failed to understand as if "Without" the mind of God to interpret them?

Why else the need for a man of God to "Interpret"? Does a man have any TRUE hope of interpreting a sign in the earth or a sign God has hung in the heavens?

Whether in the form of a fig tree that bears no fruit or a pattern of stars that reflect a Dragon swallowing a child if that man has failed at coming to realize the language of God through images seen?

Could that be why the bible is so hard to understand? Have we stooped looking, because we don't know what we're looking for?

Why would God tell man Eternal Life is to "Know God and the One He has sent" only then to make it impossible for that same man to make such a discovery for himself about all else the Gospel makes available to mankind?

Especially when we understand God speaks through "Images"? Images much like a song can have a multitude of "Interpretations" especially if we don't "Know" the "Original Author" and their mindset?

As just a side bar, but have you ever deeply considered why the Art of some only seems to increase in value once the author departs this world? As opposed to when they were alive it was just another piece of representative "Genre'" in some remote gallery or maybe closet somewhere?

That is until the story behind the "Story" gets out!

John 16:7-8
But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you
NIV

How would you think this type of wisdom would affect the words Jesus leaves for mankind to consider? How far will we allow sayings such as, "Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder" to take us?

Many found no beauty in Jesus when He was physically here on earth but that's not ONLY to mention his physical presentation. In terms of His real beauty, in so much so that it is written that He came to His own yet His own did NOT receive him".

You can say or mimic profound things all day long, yet until said "Pro-found" also interprets as something you've 'Found" as if "For" you, what have you seen as if in the midst of everything representative of the "Truth"?

Don't you hate it when you lose something, only later to find what your looking that has been right underneath your nose all along?

Joel 1:12
The vine is dried up and the fig tree is withered; the pomegranate, the palm and the apple tree —
all the trees of the field — are dried up. Surely the joy of mankind is withered away.
NIV

If all that a man leaves in this world once he dies is the evidence of his own history, how much of his "His story" prevents and/or stands in the "WAY" of others from Hearing, Seeing and then Understanding everything "Truth" hopes to prevent and/or present?

1 Tim 5:24-25
The sins of some men are obvious, reaching the place of judgment ahead of them; the sins of others trail behind them. In the same way, good deeds are obvious, and even those that are not cannot be hidden.
NIV

While here in this world men say and do many different things, yet there is only One reason which also qualifies those things as if the "Goodness" of God. When a man errors it is when he assumes "Everything" he says and does is also "Justified" as though the goodness of God.

I don't think Jesus would have warned against causing another to sin without reason. For the sake of comfort many have tried to redefine the full scope of sin as if only between themselves and God, yet why would Jesus warn about the "Cause" of "Sin" of another?

Mark 9:42
"And if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around his neck.
NIV

My thoughts would lean towards, "That would depend upon Who's doing the judging"!

It continues to be heard today, "Don't Judge me" as if a stiff arm or defense mechanism put up when or if someone other than self disagrees with our person, yet is that a Godly principal?

Once again wouldn't that depend upon who's not only the One judging, but also the One doing the teaching as it concerns all that "Judgment" accomplishes?

When a person says they believe, are they not also judging? Wise judgment proves that God is righteous when He speaks.

1 Peter 4:17-18
For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And,

"If it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?"
NIV

In terms of One being right and two or more being wrong as if opposed, does it truly matter how many agree with the wrong thing?

Despite the controversy the bible seems to attract, does that also mean the bible is responsible for that controversy?

The beauty and trustworthiness of God and His spoken word(s), is that they will NEVER contradict each other because they are "One" and have been written with One purpose in mind that all men would hopefully choose NOT to perish.

Hence the perfect example of Jesus the God sent Christ example of "Obedience" that was "Made" prefect by the things He suffered.

Everything God expresses about His person suggest all things created were intended to point to one and the same thing.

Jesus also having come from God also preaches every attribute of His person is also ONE with God.

If that can be accepted why then does man (generally speaking) love to fall in love with his own sense or image of  "Uniqueness" as if an awareness of self that is entitled to be different in the essence (spirit) and efforts of all his doings?

And who are we as if yet another expression of God He also created for His purpose(s) and intentions? Even less "Why are we Not" such an expression as if a "Mindless" fig tree that bears no fruit?

Rom 1:18-20

The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.

For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities — his eternal power and divine nature — have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse
