If the creative words of God were intended to create a specific image, whose likeness would those words also represent. sw
How many skim over the Real treasures of life in order to reach for the otherwise "Good Portions" of life they can see. sw
Gen 1:26-27
Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them. NIV
Why does any man live as though he were not alive. sw
Luke 4:24-27
"I tell you the truth," he continued, "no prophet is accepted in his hometown.
I assure you that there were many widows in Israel in Elijah's time, when the sky was shut for three and a half years and there was a severe famine throughout the land.
Yet Elijah was not sent to any of them, but to a widow in Zarephath in the region of Sidon.
And there were many in Israel with leprosy in the time of Elisha the prophet, yet not one of them was cleansed — only Naaman the Syrian."
NIV
1 Cor 15:16-19
For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile ; you are still in your sins.
Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men.
NIV
How many today who are also of the "Christ Like" persuasion have heard words such as these,
"If Jesus were here He could just reach out and "Touch Me"?
Heb 4:12
For the word of God is living and active

Think about the FULL context of the following two phrases and how they COULD somehow find their otherwise true potential somehow opposed?
Dependent upon ones Type of vocabulary, one phrase is a product of an invisible evolutionary process a written language sojourns and the other whose origins are derived from an otherwise invisible "God'?
"We'll just have to "Agree" to "Disagree"?
Mark 14:56
Many testified falsely against him, but their statements did not agree .
NIV
Truly what is ANY mans "Doctrine"?
Philem 6
I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ. NIV
In terms of death, what happens when something or someone is assumed to not only BE "Dead" but gone as well?
1 Peter 1:3-9
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!
In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade — kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.
In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.
These have come so that your faith — of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire — may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
NIV
As it applies to the conceptual phrase "It is what it is" how does a persons reasoning somehow make room for ALL that is True in this world? Especially if THE TRUTH is ONLY merely uttered words and NOT the beauty of a REAL "Person"?
Long suffering, who today is truthfully weighing it's patience? And whose bags of weights are being used to somehow balance the set of set of scales that have not been accurately "Calibrated"?
Acts 5:9
Peter said to her, "How could you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look! The feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out also."
NIV
