A picture may be worth a thousand words, yet the artist had to hear everyone of them. sw
A statement made that's also assumed open for interpretation suggest a message sent that was not intended to be clearly understood. sw
If there were more than One God just think how complicated the thoughts of religion would be. sw
Freedom opens many doors yet rebellion slams them shut at every opportunity. sw
Who are the "They" and the "Them" God speaks of below?
2 Peter 2:19-20
They promise them freedom , while they themselves are slaves of depravity — for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him. NIV
The author was addressing the "Potential" influence false prophets and teachers can have on the people of God.
What one word best describes what the author was hoping to prevent? Could it be the word "Ungodly"?
When one can accept that God creates with spoken words, is it any wonder why men who seek power would want to gain control of the interpretation of words?
It is written of the Christ God sent on His behalf, that He was what?
John 1:1-2
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God , and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. NIV
If God is believed who is the "Us" below?
Gen 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. KJV
When you don't know what you exactly believe what do you then hear and as the result "See" or fail to see?
How easy is to put together a 100 piece puzzle versus a 5,000 piece when certain things begin to take shape and relate to where the next piece belongs?
If you're a puzzle fanatic have you ever accidentally mixed the pieces of a two separate puzzles together only to eventually give up trying to figure the whole thing out?
Have you ever heard the arguments over the gender of God whether male or female since it's been said "Let us make Him in our own image"?
Few ask the question, "Why didn't God simply roll out some more clay and make Eve as God did Adam"? Rather than simply reject the whole telling words of God, why argue only particular portions of what God says is true?
Even if there were more words of God recorded somewhere, wouldn't the worth of seeing part of what God says still require believing what we do have in that God created the heavens and the earth and every living thing? And that to include the eventual arrival of His Son the appointed Christ (savior of men)?
Where did the phrase come from which suggest that "Opposites attract"? Who coined it and why is it accepted as if valid?
How much of what gets said speaks of the body and soul and how much gets said on behalf of the spirit of God within a man? That same spirit that requires faith in order to see it?
Even further why the need for a "New" spirit and the mind of the soul to be "Renewed"?
God says "I will" remove your heart of stone. When a man alone tries to accomplish this on his own self righteous reigns in his thinking. Since God is spirit and man knows next to nothing about the spirit realm why does man assume he CAN do it?
It's a picture only God can paint!
Ezek 36:26
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
NIV
Such foolishness leaves little room for the "Likeness" of a God given spirit to return home doesn't it? Not to mention the needed leading of His spirit for a lost soul that knows nothing about where Home is that has also never seen the Father?
And why the beauty of the Adoption as Sons?
The essence of what God used in "Order" to design them male and female, all came from the One man (Adam) God created.
By wisdom, foresight and intent, God took from what was One and made the two. If God had made Eve from her own pile of dust/clay she would then not only have the "right" (Liberty) to defy Adam and discern what is Good for "Herself" but even greater her design would not speak to ALL that God desired to make known about His person by way of them both as "One".
What could have been the underlying message? A kingdom divided against itself will NOT stand maybe? How much more then is understood when the spirit and soul of man hears "The Kingdom of God is within You"?
And how much of that Kingdom has to do with HIS spirit within a man? The same spirit that can not be seen with physical eyes nor heard with physical ears?
Why the requirement that such an inhabitant must first be "Believed" does reside on the inside of a man in order to then be seen by spiritual eyes and heard by spiritual ears?
1 Peter 3:12
For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer,
but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."
NIV
And who is the being that does NOT believe God and every word that comes from His mouth?
Gal 3:6
Consider Abraham: "He believed God , and it was credited to him as righteousness."
NIV
Failing to recognize what God has done does NOT align itself with the voice that says "I believe".
Rom 1:20
For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities — his eternal power and divine nature — have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse . NIV
It should be clearly seen how clouded the perception of some has become when it is truthfully considered "Why" same sex relationships fly in the face of what God intended. Especially when one believes Gods intent was to make himself known through all that He's created.
Without dwelling too long on this topic, same sex relationships should be the "Pinnacle" as to how to discern the defiant spirit at work within someone. Instead of looking for a horns and a tail why not look for the not so obvious evidence?
The reason being this attraction revisits the essential dynamics and retelling of the God like design encased in human flesh where it all began. Of course that also requires Believing God!
What do you believe, who have you believed and why is the summation of all that you believe so important to the Lord? Because it has everything to do with the manifestation (results).
Prov 15:6
The house of the righteous contains great treasure, but the income of the wicked brings them trouble. NIV
Whose words have you allowed into the House of God and are they "True"?
Is this life only about you OR is your life being lived truly about proving God to be righteous because He has spoken?
We must Not forget that hell was originally prepared for the 1/3 of the angelic realm which first defied the wisdom of God before man came on scene.
Mans opportunity is to receive the Mercy of God so that His grace CAN lead us to reconciliation In Him through the spiritual doorway of Christ whom He sent.
The flesh does not somehow cloak what the mind of the ungodly spirit and lost soul look to do and hope to accomplish. Without the God appointed Christ as our guide and moment to moment Counselor how true is our Hope in Him?
2 Thess 2:13
But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth .
NIV
If the word (Gospel) of the Lord is understood to be the seed of Gods spirit planted within you, does it not also require the grace of God to give shape, form and then birth to that spiritual Child?
If the word (Gospel) of the Lord is understood to be the seed of Gods spirit planted within you, does it not also require the grace of God to give shape, form and then birth to that spiritual Child?
When does eternity begin? Only when you get to heaven or when the outer covering of our flesh gets replaced by it's new covering (divine body)?
Gods words were intended to bring to life the picture He's painted that should be worth more than a thousand words.
If your spiritual birth were intended to ONLY be a partaker of a time and season assumed to be IN Heaven, what does that suggest about every word that has come from the mouth of God that suggest there is More to the event than what is presently "Believed to be True".
Setting captives free might interpret differently when it's understood more clearly as to "Who and What" in all truth actually is holding those God given spirit(s) captive?
I hope to continue this at some point in the future and hope that we can share in these Truth(s) which God has placed on display as we hopefully mature so we can interpret our identity as if it does have a purpose in this world.

Hello,
ReplyDeletewhen I read this post and you mentioned 'Let us make man in our image' I was reminded of a post I wrote some time ago. I don't know if you would like to read it and share what you think about it. If you would it is found at http://lighthousevision.blogspot.co.uk/2011/11/let-us-make-man-in-our-image_22.html
I believe those who also believe in accordance with the spirit of God not only when He's read but when those who do belong to Him are heard in that same fashion, "WE Have the mind of Christ"!
ReplyDeleteAnd to think the wisdom of this world assumes it coined the essence of the phrase, "Like minds think alike"!
I dearly Love my earthly father and I can pick his voice out of a crowded room on my worst day.
Thanks Brenda, keep blessing the brethren of the First Born of the Beloved of God. amen
I loved my earthly father very much too. His words 'Let's see what the Lord says' when my siblings and myself used to argue as children and we used to say 'Dad, dad who is right?' have stayed in my mind ever since I have been born again. He prayed for my sister and myself at different times when we were ill, and on both occasions we were made well instantly. I have experienced and seen miraculous healings and I believe the church is missing out in many areas through the deceit of the spiritual enemy, and I pray constantly that faith will be restored.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you.
