For the sake of what is True

Who wouldn't want to be proved innocent of any charge which results in the individual that looses their freedom. sw

In this world certified mail requires a "Returned receipt" which signifies a "Sent" item was received, yet what type of proof is needed in order to prove the "Son of God" was well received and as such with "Thanksgiving and Praise". sw

Exactly what does ANY faith include without truthful consideration of everything that follows the leading of that same "Faith". sw

If faith has NOT been built upon the bedrock of ALL that is "True" and as such that is in accordance with the "Belief" there is only "One God" is it still any "Real" wonder why there seems to be so many different Gods. sw

Is it possible for a man to look in the mirror and "See" a dead man who is also a murderer? Or does he see a man that does not see blood stained hands nor the need for the God sent Christ. sw

Isa 53:5
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
KJV

John 8:22-24

This made the Jews ask, "Will he kill himself? Is that why he says, 'Where I go, you cannot come'?"

But he continued, "You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. 24 I told you that you would die in your sins ; if you do not believe that I am [the one I claim to be], you will indeed die in your sins ."

NIV

1 Cor 15:17
And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins. NIV

Without fully realizing who it is the author of the letter written to the Romans is addressing in its totality, who then goes on to prove they do have has ears that can hear?

Until you've faced death in the face, is it possible for that person to find the real value in the ONE who gives true "Life"?

Rom 4:16-25
Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham's offspring — not only to those who are of the law but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.

As it is written: "I have made you a father of many nations." He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed — the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were.

Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, "So shall your offspring be."

Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead — since he was about a hundred years old — and that Sarah's womb was also dead.

Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised

This is why "it was credited to him as righteousness." The words "it was credited to him" were written not for him alone, but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousnessfor us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. 25 He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification
NIV

In terms of what a person believes to be True, what should the claim of the indwelling of the spirit of "Christ" go on to "Do"? As if the 'Living proof" of a verdict that has been "Made and sent of God" well in advance of "Sentencing". sw

What can rise from the ashes of death without evil being exposed for all that it is NOT. sw

John 3:18-21
This is the verdict : Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed

But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God."    NIV

What benefit is there in ANY shade of freedom, if "True Freedom" is only understood to be found "In Christ" and as such which then justifies what freedom "In Christ" is which then goes on to prove all that we've been "Freed from". sw

Many today seem to enjoy "Thought's" of freedom, yet in the end what does any freedom provide in terms of what the individual ultimately finds to be "True". sw

Is there such a thing as "False Light" unless it has been ultimately determined what ANY type of light does or does NOT reveal. sw

One thing Paul became familiar with is the power of True Light.

Acts 13:9-11
Then Saul, who was also called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked straight at Elymas and said, "You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right!

You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord? Now the hand of the Lord is against you. You are going to be blind, and for a time you will be unable to see the light of the sun."

NIV

Phil 1:9-18

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ — to the glory and praise of God.

Now I want you to know, brothers, that what has happened to me has really served to advance the gospel.

As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ. Because of my chains, most of the brothers in the Lord have been encouraged to speak the word of God more courageously and fearlessly.

It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill.

The latter do so in love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel.

The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains.

But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.
NIV

2 Cor 13:7-10
Now we pray to God that you will not do anything wrong. Not that people will see that we have stood the test but that you will do what is right even though we may seem to have failed.

For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth .

We are glad whenever we are weak but you are strong; and our prayer is for your perfection. 10 This is why I write these things when I am absent, that when I come I may not have to be harsh in my use of authority — the authority the Lord gave me for building you up, not for tearing you down.
NIV
