They Changed their Minds

Some will suggest a picture is worth a thousand words. Just think if that were true, if someone were to ask 'About" you and all you'd need to do is show them "Your" favorite picture?

Have you ever stopped to consider why any detailed "Narrative" is required whenever "Inquiring Minds" want to know more?

And how would ANY person also perceive their personage also making the word of GOD attractive? And as such without God being the ONE who's doing all the WORK that also....Truly Works?

And what is any verdict truly worth having also heard that same verdict well in advance? If the One who issued that verdict was NOT seen as the "Absolute" highest authority?

And what is any authority that is without those who DO believe in that authority? The type of mercy filled "Author" who is NOT required to compel by way of Force, but instead by "Way" of a type of draw that has Truly TAKEN and maintains the Lead by WAY of an everlasting "Example"?

To then truthfully consider there might be a difference between those lead of the spirit of God and those who have resisted the compelling of that same spirit unto Good works?

Is the divine mutual objective only found in doing good works or are "Good works" only found to be the obedience of those He sends? And how simple is the narrative word ..."Go" when trying to figure it all OUT?

And who is it that refuse having also been created of God?

Rom 1:20
For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities — his eternal power and divine nature — have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. NIV

John 3:21

But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God ."

There's a really interesting game marketed by Mattel called "Pictionary" that might better reveal the type of communication phenomenon I'm trying to outline.

Yet even then, if you've "Never" heard of or played the game you'd probably have no clue what I'm talking about.

In terms of effectual communication why can't people simply carry around a picture album?

The type of album that's full of pictures (reflections) of every type of thing or conditions they've laid eyes on and have clearly understood to be true in their own lifetime?

That way whenever questioned they could simply hand to the one inquiring the appropriate "Picture" that says it "ALL' and simply walk away?

Have you ever considered the image of the 'Cross" that same way?

John 3:14-15
Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.   NIV

Having read this story referred to in John 3, would you suppose those who truly were fearful of dying having been bitten by a deadly snake would also have to be told "Twice" to go and look at the snake on a pole in order to save their lives?

As if being told "Once" didn't "effectually communicate the mutual concern for their obvious "Need"? Told to "Go" and simply cast their eyes upon the "Symbol" Moses was instructed of God to erect?

Under the clear terms of there being ONLY one choice (zero alternatives) how many today would YOU suggest (while also knowing themselves) would hesitate?

I personally think very few would hesitate if they also "Believed" they were about to "Die"? About to die while also being unsure about the liveliness of their continued existence?

Instead of finding themselves desperately "running" to the foot of this God established symbol, do you somehow see them casually sitting around debating the "Outcome"?

Debating because they're not sure who or what to 'Believe" about the life threatening situation they found themselves in?

Time being of great importance while also considering a portion of their own lives were somehow mysteriously on trial? Do you "SEE" them holding counsel meetings among themselves while trying to determine whether or NOT Moses was telling them the "Truth"?

Let's look at a different scenario where someone else was bitten by a poisonous viper. The type of image that came with it's own type of "Unspoken" narrative.

Acts 28:4-6
When the islanders saw the snake hanging from his hand, they said to each other, "This man must be a murderer; for though he escaped from the sea, Justice has not allowed him to live." But Paul shook the snake off into the fire and suffered no ill effects.

The people expected him to swell up or suddenly fall dead, but after waiting a long time and seeing nothing unusual happen to him, they changed their minds and said he was a god.

Were those during the reign of Moses concerned about their "Immediate" sense of "Death"? Immediate death meaning they were fearful of dying because their vision of "Life" was limited or that their vision that has everything to do with the circumstances which followed "Death" was uncertain?

Who today could by any means could somehow look forward to a "Better Resurrection"?

In terms of borrowing from the image of a type of street interview, how many would you suggest might assume the cross is NOT a universal symbol? And those who would deny the image of the cross might also merely be attempting to silently defend their own image of their own future?

The type of symbol that will also "Interpret" exactly the same "Way" God has already said it WILL?
The type of future where anyone who truthfully considers "The" image of a "Cross" will also meet with an expected end?

When ever its heard in some of the "Motion Pictures" we've all most likely seen, "I'll see YOU in Hell", what will prove to be the image of Hell that was NOT compelling enough to sway the minds of men "Differently"?

Is the question at hand that men are NOT effectual communicators OR that many are refusing to acknowledge EVERY good thing which may or may not be in them?

When and IF ONLY God is considered to BE "Good", exactly how much more or less will ANY man TRULY see within himself ALL that each presently Perceives (believes) to BE TRUE?

Praise is one consideration whereas Praise unto "The One true God" is filled with What?

And what would the Good Lord consider to BE "Empty" Praise and what would those who have been Emptied of SELF also sound LIKE?

Not only for His GOOD Grace, but JUST as equal His inviting MERCY He has shown towards ALL who might Truly consider "What God Has Done" and BELIEVE upon the same ONE He as God has sent?
