Could such an impression prove to be the significance as the net result of the one whom you then find?
A "Good" hunter worth his weight in salt is said to be able to study a footprint in order to determine the approximate height, weight and direction of travel of it's owner.
As if an original thought, what caused the first true hunters in antiquity to be considered "Good" hunters?
That is to ask, "If the caliber of the Hunter were being defined what would be the thoughts of those that were judging that hunter?
Would it be that he's simply a "Good" provider of food?
Or will it be the thoughts of others about him in that he's consistently proved himself able to "Provide" in order to feed the hunger of their stomachs which also depend upon the simplicity of all that he is and has become while a participant of their life"
Now add the ability of being a "Good" hunter to that suggestion?
Gen 25:27
The boys grew up, and Esau became a skillful hunter, a man of the open country, while Jacob was a quiet man, staying among the tents.
NIV
Gen 25:32
"Look, I am about to die," Esau said. "What good is the birthright to me?"
NIV
Mal 1:1-3
1:1 An oracle: The word of the LORD to Israel through Malachi.
"I have loved you," says the LORD.
"But you ask, 'How have you loved us?'
"Was not Esau Jacob's brother?" the LORD says. "Yet I have loved Jacob, but Esau I have hated , and I have turned his mountains into a wasteland and left his inheritance to the desert jackals."
NIV
Phil 3:17-19
Join with others in following my example, brothers, and take note of those who live according to the pattern we gave you. For, as I have often told you before and now say again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach , and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things.NIV
Is that statement suggesting what's been said has no "Effect" or the one listening finds no "Value" in the context of what's being said?
Just food for thought.
Some personalities are more concerned with the impression and influence of their own legacy left behind than they are the true reasoning that hides behind the "Why" they hope to influence others to be more like themselves.
As if the specific something of great importance which is then found and perpetuated by those that follow their personalities.
Is it truly a legacy which gets left behind as a person's wake or the more likelihood of a tendency which one hopes that others will look to emulate in the hope of what they assume it will eventually accomplish?
I'm confident most have heard the term, "Living vicariously through another person".
1 John 4:16-17
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him
NIV
In terms of being the "Twin" of someone else is the suggestion that each (both) came from the same womb. Further defining of their likeness's though comes by way of addressing both as "Identical" twins.
In terms of God and as many people as God has made, how could there be any hope that is also true of being considered "Like Him" while in the midst of a mindset where it's being told even more convincingly so that we're all unique and as a result different through and through?
I agree there's more than one way to skin or catch a fish, but their meat eventually ends up in the mutual functionality of our stomachs does it not?
Where did wisdom run off to with respect to its declaration, "Divide and conquer"?
This was said (recorded) as part of the early life of the Apostle Paul (Saul) before he was born again:
Acts 8:3
But Saul began to destroy the church. Going from house to house, he dragged off men and women and put them in prison.
NIV
I think Paul at that time in his life also thought that he was unique in God's eye's too.
Being considered "Unique" might define the shape of our bodies, the color of our eye's or the specific appetite for a certain flavor of food, but what about the things which would express that we each have come from one and the same womb as if from God?
Some have convinced themselves that we're ALL simply the fragmented and or unique expressions of one and the same person of God that also MUST be accepted, yet if that were true then why the need for a Day of Judgment where Gods wrath will come to destroy specific things He mentions?
John 3:3
In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again"
NIV
John 3:6-7
Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again .
NIV
If we each have our own spirit as if one uniquely assigned, how could one then maintain the thoughts which work towards the common thoughts and desires of one and the same spirit that is from the "Womb" of God?
How could so many spirits which also hold onto their understanding as if they're going to be judged differently with respect to their individual and or unique patterns which look nothing like a spirit in "Common"?
If the understanding of the effects of the thought of someone being "Unique" were cultured what might the findings be?
Does flesh look, feel to the touch and respond like flesh or does it look and feel like flesh, yet respond like the identical spirit which compels us to act within?
Much like a specimen taken in a lab that's then placed in a specific environment in order to see whether or not it will grow, what might one find as the resulting affect(s) of their own said spirit?
There's much that needs to be more thoroughly addressed by the spirit of God than does the naked mind of mere men who maintain any hope of being perfectly united in Love.
You say that you have loved and know all that love is, yet who's defined all that you've thought Love to be?
A season of mercy is the opportunity to accept what has been freely given while the offer is still on the table for your consideration.
Now is the time to make the truthful discovery and not wait until after you've lived a life the way you've assumed and chosen to understand "All" things which pertain to the divine order of a much greater reality soon to be revealed.
If it's a forced or leveraged response, "It's not one as an act of the faith having believed!
Rom 8:9-11
You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.
NIV
Don't despise that which is "Rightfully" yours but accept the birth right that has been freely given to all that will only believe to then experience having been born again and plant their faith in (as if in righteous soil) all that Christ Jesus the Lord is and has done.
